Though she loved words, Iris considered herself more artist than writer until she completed two creative writing courses. After that, she was hooked. Following several years of writing for magazines, she finally took the plunge and began her first novel, Bridge of Shadows, an inspirational romantic-suspense based on an old family secret. She is  excited to report that a sequel has now been finished, which she hopes to have published shortly.
"To me, it seems as if the characters are real living people," she says. "They continually surprise me, doing things I don't expect."
Iris has many more ideas  up her sleeve, and hopes to be writing for years to come.
